Deposit the technical documentation ATEX for nonelectrical equipment of category 2
Ineris carries out the storage of ATEX Technical File. Indeed, the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU requires manufacturers of non-electrical equipment of category 2 with an own ignition source to archive their technical file to a Notified Body in accordance with Article 13 1) b) ii) of ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU.
This file must contain the elements that demonstrate that the equipment meets the essential safety requirements defined in this directive.
The risk assessment, which must be carried out in accordance with EN ISO 80079-36:2016, is the most important document in this file.
Below you will find the application form which includes two types of archiving:
- initial storage for 10 years
- the renewal of the storage for a further 10 years
This form also contains the general conditions of the procedure which should be downloaded so that you have the latest update.
Upon receipt of the Technical File, Ineris will send you an acknowledgement of receipt.
